The 2025 Texas State Women’s Championship, taking place October 4–5, is an in-person individual tournament designed to crown the top women chess players in Texas. This year, the event aims to expand interest and create more competitive opportunities for women in the state.
UT Dallas Chess Program is excited to partner with Tech Mahindra Global Chess League (GCL) to organize this year’s championship. Notably, this may be the first USCF-rated Texas event held in a corporate setting, adding a unique dimension to the tournament experience.
